Kamala has chosen her new parents

Kamala was supposed to move to Finland. But we got too attached and could not let her go. Somehow we secretly hoped that she would chose to stay at home.

She was to tender and not interested in shows, we did not want to make her a prisoner of her beauty and turn her into a show star.



Much to our surprise ou little beauty has finally decided it is time for her to move from our nest and has shown some interest in visitors we had.

To be honest, it was more than interest, she rolled on her back, purred and came to a lap.

Coming from our reserved supermodel, who has spent all of the previous visits on the top of the cat tree without any intention to grant us with even glimpse of her catwalk, it was a clear statement of sudden affection.

I could not believe my eyes, part of me hoped she would stay forever.

But it is easy to let her go ( ahm..quite ), as she has made a choice for herself.

It feels like we are doing the right thing with letting our kittens leave our home at their own pace and to the homes of their own selection.

Kamala will be a new star in Recknagel cattery

It is official, Kamala is moving to Finland.

My pretty, proud yet gentle little lady is moving to Finland to live with Marjo in Recknagel cattery, original home of Ulla and Harski.
